2026 TRY-IT Clinic (1st - 6th Grades)

Registration for the TRY-IT Clinic and your son can attend a 'pre-season' practice, to see what Lacrosse is all about. The TRY-IT Clinic will be held on Sunday February 8th, at 2:45 at the Ridley High School Gym. We will supply the sticks, coaches, drills, and a refreshment... you supply the player. If he likes it, there will still be time to register for the season, and get the necessary equipment. The TRY-IT Clinic is for 1st-6th grade boys in the Ridley School District.

2026 Spring Lacrosse

Ridley Youth Lacrosse is a township based boys' lacrosse league formed in 1984 that competes in the Southeast PA Youth Lacrosse Association, serving boys from Pre-K (Age 4) through 8th grades. The goal of the organization is to give boys a low cost entry into the sport of lacrosse, while providing quality coaching and strong competition. The Spring season runs from late February though early June, with playoffs at all travel age groups (3rd-8th Grades).

3rd-8th Grade boys will travel and compete in the Southeast PA Youth Lacrosse Association. They will play a full schedule against teams in Delaware County and Montgomery County. They will practice twice per week (TBD). Games are generally on the weekends.

1st-2nd Grade Boys will play in an in-house clinic. The boys will practice together for the first month on Sundays. They will then be split into teams (10 players each) and in-house games will begin in April. Games will be on Sundays, with one practice mid-week (Weds or Thurs nights). Games against local teams (Springfield, Marple) will be setup so the boys will have a chance to play teams outside of Ridley.

K & Pre-K Boys will have a clinic experience on Sunday afternoons. They will learn the basics of lacrosse such as scooping, cradling, shooting, and have a great deal of fun! Practices run for roughly 1 hour & 15 minutes. Additional practices may be setup in April/May mid-week, depending on the coach's availability.
